Don Vorous

Property Manager

Donnie was a native of Clarke County and graduated from Clarke County High School in 1981. After graduating, he chose to pursue a career in the field of work for a local petroleum company where he worked his way to upper management. After many years of experience in the petroleum business, he became successful by opening his own Petroleum company. After several years he sold the business and continued to work in the industry until retiring 2 years ago. After retirement, he has enjoyed working outdoors with his hands doing numerous handyman jobs helping others and spending quality time with his family. He has been married to his wife Mary for 42 years and has 3 grown children and 6 amazing grandchildren. He has spent his spare time enjoying his family, golfing,
gardening, fishing, and hunting. He loves to be outdoors and camping with his family as well.

He was led to come out of retirement after learning about Boulder Crest and their mission. As he researched who they were and who they served he was strongly led to apply for the property manager’s position. He felt he had much to offer the community of military and first responders’ men and women in need. He has a son who served in the Army, which has given him great respect for the dedication and sacrifices of those that have and are currently serving. He chose to pursue this position with Boulder Crest, believing he can give back and use his many life skills and gifts to help others that have sacrificed for us.
