Master Chief Harry Bologna lived the life he had always dreamed of as a Navy SEAL. For over twenty-two years, he served with distinction in the SEAL Teams, his chest bearing the weight of five Bronze Stars — three with Valor — marking a career of exceptional service and sacrifice.

On October 22, 2015, while doing what he loved most — serving his country — Harry’s life was forever changed. One step. One landmine. Both legs were lost in an instant.

Over twelve months of grueling rehabilitation, learning how to walk again was just the beginning.

The deeper battle came later, when darkness threatened to consume him. Physical pain was brutal, but emotional pain cut deeper still.

Harry found a path back through the Boulder Crest Foundation’s Warrior PATHH program. The breakthrough came when he realized that losing his legs presented an opportunity for growth and transformation.

Today, Harry serves by helping others navigate their own journeys. His hard-earned wisdom: true heroism isn’t just surviving the ordeal — it’s returning to serve others so they can find their way out of the darkness.

From the depths of despair to meaningful service.

Harry Bologna proves that even our most devastating experiences can become the foundation for our greatest contributions.
