

Jen Grady is the Director of Communications at the Boulder Crest Foundation, a nationally acclaimed nonprofit committed to supporting veterans, first responders, and their families through transformative programs grounded in the science of Posttraumatic Growth (PTG). In her role, Jennifer leads strategic communications efforts that elevate the organization’s mission—helping individuals not only heal, but thrive, in the aftermath of trauma.
With more than two decades of experience in communications, marketing, and brand development, Jennifer brings a dynamic and diverse background to her work. Her career spans a broad range of industries and organization types—from small, entrepreneurial boutique branding agencies to global media conglomerates. She began her career in media with Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine in Austin; sharpened her marketing skills with Hearst Publications in New York, served at Director of Marketing for Art in America magazine, contributed to the high-profile launch of Design Miami in partnership with Art Basel/Miami Beach; learned to build creative community and engagement with the Miami Design District, One Vanderbilt, and Starrett-Lehigh Building; honed her campaign and storytelling skills with The Navy Exchange, Express, Macy’s, Lancôme, L’Oreal, and the relaunch of Redbox.
At Boulder Crest, she is driven to amplify powerful narratives of strength and transformation, working to ensure that veterans and first responders are recognized not only for their sacrifices, but also for their enduring capacity to overcome adversity and lead meaningful lives.
At home, Jen is a proud wife and mother, an avid traveler, and is active in her local community. She serves as a Girl Scout troop leader, volunteers with her local school PTA, and has held a volunteer board position with the local education nonprofit, The Achieve Foundation.
