Ryan served 8 years as an active duty United States Air Force Security Forces (Military Police) member. Four years into his service, his passion for firearms led him to lateral train and become a Combat Arms instructor. It was in teaching his fellow Airmen to safely and competently operate 10 different weapons systems that he realized his love for connecting with students and sharing knowledge.
Ryan attended Warrior PATHH in 2021 where he learned to reconnect with himself and how to be a positive presence in the lives of those around him. This new found knowledge of how to move from survival mode to thriving and serving others who are struggling (not well) led him back to the instructor role. He is excited about the daily opportunities as a PATHH Guide and looks forward to giving the gifts to others that allow him to struggle well.
When Ryan is not at work, he’s living life to the fullest with his amazing wife and two crazy dogs.
