Yana Anderson is a nonprofit fundraising leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing mission-driven organizations and building philanthropic initiatives that drive meaningful impact. Her work centers on strategic growth, collaborative leadership, and connecting people to causes that inspire action and generosity.
Born in Ukraine and raised in Texas, Yana moved to Washington, DC to attend The George Washington University, where she earned her undergraduate degree. She later received her MBA from Johns Hopkins University and has called the DC region home for more than twenty years.
Yana spent more than a decade with Blood Cancer United, where she played a key role in growing national fundraising campaigns and expanding community engagement efforts that support blood cancer patients and their families. Her work has focused on building strong partnerships with donors, volunteers, and organizations committed to advancing life changing programs.
She is driven by the power of community and the impact that dedicated people can make when they come together around a shared purpose. Yana lives in the Northern Virginia area with her family and remains deeply committed to work that improves the lives of others.
