My grandfather read me a story when I was your age.
He said it’s been passed down for generations. It’s helped me in the face of difficulty.
He said:
A terrible battle is raging inside me—a fight between two wolves.
One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, lies, and ego.
The other wolf is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, empathy, generosity, truth, and faith.
Both wolves are fighting to the death.
I asked my grandfather, “Which wolf wins?”
