Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, those struggling with trauma can draw strength and hope from our Posttraumatic Growth programming and 37-acres of outdoor serenity.
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, those struggling with trauma can draw strength and hope from our Posttraumatic Growth programming and 37-acres of outdoor serenity.
Our sprawling property – located just an hour west of Washington D.C. – was initially surveyed by George Washington and his brother John. They hosted soldiers from the Revolution War and Civil Wars, including the infamous Mosby Rangers.
Our Boulder Crest Virginia location provides science-backed training and a place for veterans, first responders, and their families to rediscover themselves and one other.
We know firsthand the sacrifices and stresses of military and veteran families, which is why we dedicate nearly 50% of our calendar to Family Rest & Reconnection at our two beautiful Boulder Crest locations.
We offer four ADA-accessible cabins, each with three bedrooms, two full baths, a full kitchen, free Wi-Fi, and more amenities.
Additionally, guests love our thoughtful therapeutic and recreational activities, including equine experiences, archery, art, music, labyrinth walks, and fishing. The area surrounding our Boulder Crest Virginia location property is truly an outdoor paradise, with hiking on the Appalachian Trail, kayaking in the Shenandoah River, and many other local attractions including local wineries and breweries.
We also offer optional organized group activities – such as barbecues and bonfires – to create opportunities to connect with and draw strength from other guests in this Warrior’s paradise.
Your support powers life-changing programs offered at no charge to veterans, military, first responders, and their families. With your help, our Warriors won't just survive — they'll thrive.
