Cassandra Anderson is a native Texan with a lifelong love of food and over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Born in Austin and raised in Houston, she has lived throughout Texas as well as in Northern California, Alaska, and Germany. She trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin, graduating with high honors and earning certificates in Baking & Pastry and Culinary Arts, along with an AOS degree in Culinary Operations Management.
Cassandra believes food is an emotional experience and is passionate about creating dishes that are both beautiful and comforting. A dedicated bread baker, she enjoys writing recipes, developing menus, cooking from scratch, and adapting recipes to be healthier or meet special dietary needs. Her background includes restaurants, bakeries, administrative roles, and owning her own food businesses.
Coming from a large military family, Cassandra values service and community. After the loss of her grandson to leukemia in 2017, her commitment to supporting children’s medical charities grew even stronger. She lives in Texas with her husband, family, and dogs and finds joy in cooking, travel, music, architecture, and time spent with loved ones.
