Josh Hirschhorn is currently the Head of Healthcare Trading at Magnetar Capital. Before this, he worked in Head of Trading roles at Honeycomb Asset Management, Kavi Asset Management and New Mountain Capital over the past 15 years. Prior to finance, Josh worked as an Intelligence Analyst in the United States Marine Corps. In his time with USMC, he deployed to Fallujah, Iraq as Intelligence Chief for an infantry battalion and served in various other roles in support of global counterterrorism efforts.
Josh received his MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business in Finance and Economics and his BS from SUNY-Stony Brook in Political Science with a focus on International Relations.
Josh currently resides in Haworth, NJ with his wife Jessica and two children, Madison and Max.
