Miriam Nigl

Deputy Director

Miriam is the Deputy Director of Boulder Crest’s Struggle Well program. In her role as Struggle Well Deputy Director, Miriam assists with the training, implementation, and institutionalization of Struggle Well as a means of individual growth and culture change.

Miriam previously worked with and for the government for 20 years, starting as an enlisted soldier and then a defense contractor and federal employee. She was Chief Strategist to a series of government Senior Executives, during which time she advised and coached them through some of the most challenging issues confronting the US government today. Miriam’s background fostered deep, personal ties to Boulder Crest’s mission and she is honored to be able to give back to the communities it serves.

A graduate of West Point, Miriam holds a master’s degree from Georgetown’s Security Studies Program, a graduate certificate from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service, and a Leadership and Performance Coaching Certification through Brown University’s School of Professional Studies. Ultimately she’s found she learns most from matching wits daily with her young children and husband, a Montessori teacher.
