Sierra DeVisscher

PATHH Guide

Sierra was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Growing up, Sierra developed a love for the outdoors, creativity, and playing team sports. She believes in the importance of community and knew from a young age that connecting with people and helping others truly makes her happy.

In 2019, Sierra became a Correction Officer with her state’s agency. Although the job was extremely challenging and demanding, Sierra appreciated the sense of service and camaraderie it provided.

In 2024, Sierra had what she considers to be a lifesaving opportunity by attending Warrior PATHH. The training offered her an experience that is difficult to describe. “Not only did I rediscover my purpose and authentic self, but I also formed new friendships and gained a powerful perspective on the beauty of life. I cherish, nurture, and protect this new outlook that allows me to live life to the fullest. Warrior PATHH gifted me a deeper sense of community, service, and connection than I ever thought possible. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to turn struggle into strength.”
