Sunita was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and grew up with her six siblings in rural Iowa. Raised by a single mother, the inevitable chaos of their childhood household was primarily alleviated by food stamps and meditation. Remaining fond of the latter, Sunita later became a certified teacher of Transcendental Meditation in 2017 and has been teaching meditation ever since. Over the last seven years, Sunita has primarily worked within the nonprofit sector, teaching meditation in Chicago, New York, and Washington DC. Sunita began working with Boulder Crest in 2023, quickly falling in love with the Warrior PATHH program and its impactful ability to transform one’s struggle into strength.
