CRYSTAL, SWS PATHH PARTICIPANT

“Like I wrote in my song, ‘I don’t want my past or my pain to define me. But right now, I’m overwhelmed. Never have a minute to myself. I run and I run. I am just one. Can’t get it all done.’ There are a lot of aspects to life being married to someone who has such a dangerous demanding job. So participating in Songwritingwith:Soldiers PATHH was very therapeutic. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

Nothing Brings us Together Like Music

Many find that songs help them say things they couldn’t say any other way. Participants engage in PATHH sessions, creative workshops, and songwriting that end with emotional performances at the conclusion of the program.

“I appreciate the stages of Songwritingwith:Soldiers PATHH that showed us scared at the beginning, then building trust to open up and then being OK with others hearing my song. The process brings change in such a short period of time.”
