Cole was born and raised in Reynoldsburg, Ohio (GO BUCKEYES), and joined the Air Force in May 1994. He worked as an Electro-Environmental Specialist at multiple assignments around the globe, until his final assignment at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona. It was at this assignment that Cole was selected to be a First Sergeant. His passion changed from getting aircraft mission ready, to ensuring his Airman were mission ready. It was at his time, Cole found his passion to help people through whatever obstacle lay in their path. After his retirement from the Air Force in 2016, Cole continued his focus on helping veterans eliminate those obstacles, as a Military Liaison with the two leading Behavioral Health corporations in the nation. In March of 2019, Cole attended Warrior PATHH, and immediately saw a shift in perspective. While continuing to climb the “corporate ladder”, he always felt called to join the Boulder Crest team. After several failed attempts, he is excited to be on the BCAZ team as a PATHH Guide.
When he is not working, Cole spends his time with his amazing wife of 30 years, 2 adult sons and his daughters-in-law. Hobbies include big game hunting, camping, SCUBA diving, golfing, and pretty much anything to do with being outdoors.
