Kevin Larsen, a dedicated advocate for veterans and first responders, was born with a passion for the outdoors and a commitment to service.
At the young age of 17, Kevin answered the call to duty and joined the Marine Corps, serving as a stinger missile gunner for 3rd LAAD out of Camp Pendleton. His military service laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to supporting veterans, active-duty military, and first responders.
For over a decade, Kevin has been a tireless advocate for those who have served, working in various capacities to uplift and empower his fellow comrades. He served as an art and foundry instructor for VetArt, using creativity as a therapeutic outlet for veterans. In addition, Kevin has dedicated the last 5 years as a PATHH Guide, facilitating the transformative journey from struggle to strength through Posttraumatic Growth.
Kevin’s multifaceted approach to life reflects his diverse interests and unwavering dedication to making a positive impact. His experiences in the Marine Corps, and subsequent work, have shaped him into a compassionate, and resilient individual. Whether on the archery range, in the great outdoors, or guiding others towards growth, Kevin Larsen is a beacon of strength and support for those in need.
An avid outdoorsman, Kevin finds solace in camping, hiking, and fishing. He competes in the barebow category of archery, showcasing his precision and focus. Beyond the thrill of the hunt, Kevin has a unique passion for metal detecting, unearthing old stories and connecting with the past.
Kevin currently resides in Southern Arizona with his beautiful lady, accompanied by three dogs, two cats, five chickens, and a partridge in a pear tree. This dynamic household mirrors Kevin’s love for diverse experiences, and together they create a haven for both his advocacy work and his cherished outdoor pursuits.
