Terry Leet

PATHH Guide

Terry was born in Millinocket, Maine in 1985. Upon graduating high school in 2003 Terry enlisted into the United States Army as a 19D (Cavalry Scout).

His first duty station was Ft. Stewart, Georgia, where he was deployed to Baghdad with 3-7 CAV in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2005-2006.  His second duty station was Baumholder, Germany, assigned to 1-6 Infantry where he deployed to Sadr City in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2008-2009.  His third duty station was Ft. Hood, Texas, assigned to the 3rd Cavalry Regiment and was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn from 2010-2011.  In 2015 Terry was medically retired from the United States Army.

After retiring Terry struggled with loss of purpose and identity as well as trauma from deployments and childhood.  What changed his trajectory in life was a friend of his that he deployed with had reached out and told him about Warrior PATHH and how much it had helped him.  Terry knew he needed to make some serious changes in his life not only for himself, but also for his family.  Taking his friends advice he attended Warrior PATHH and now lives a life of service, purpose, and direction serving as a PATHH Guide for BCF-Texas.

Terry lives in Belton, TX with his wife Holly, 5 children; Anneliese, Rayson, Maelee, Wesson and Layna.  In his spare time he likes to spend time fishing and being outdoors with his family and his dogs and also attending his kids sporting events.
